Client Project
A modern redesign and technical overhaul for the Eisenhower Foundation’s website — improving usability, SEO, and content management while preserving its historical mission.
Design & Development Summary
The Eisenhower Foundation's previous website had become difficult to navigate and update, with a design that no longer reflected the importance of its mission. We delivered a clean, accessible, and modern interface that supports the Foundation’s educational and outreach goals. Built on Drupal to align with their existing infrastructure, the new site accommodates multiple editors, robust content workflows, and user account functionality — all within a system that’s easier to manage and maintain. The redesign balances storytelling and functionality, helping users explore Eisenhower’s legacy without friction.
Massive SEO Cleanup
Over the years, the Foundation’s site had accumulated thousands of orphaned and outdated URLs — pages that were crawlable by search engines but invisible to users. We audited and cleaned up this legacy content, deleting or resolving low-value URLs and tightening site architecture. We also implemented caching to ensure fast load times, and optimized title tags and on-page content to help the right audiences discover the Foundation’s key initiatives, programs, and exhibits.
This resulted in significant improvements in SEO performance after the launch of the new website.
